VWS Brand and Graphics Library
The following brand should be used for representing VWS.
Colors
VWS has three primary colors
- Yellow used in the flat line and non-shaded portions of the waveform
- Hex #fed915
- HSL (50, 99, 44)
- Dark Yellow used in the shaded portions of the waveform
- Hex #b1a907
- HSL (57, 92, 36)
- Green used as the background color for the waveform and as header text color.
- Hex #017734
- Purple used as an accent color when yellow is not a good fit
Fonts
For web properties, the X font should be used
For printed material, Y font should be used
Logos
The primary VWS logo is the yellow waveform on a white or green background. The words "Vienna Wireless Society" appear above the flatline after the waveform, and the words "Amateur Radio Club - Founded 1963" appear below it.
The top portion of the waveform must read "Vienna Wireless Society" exactly.
The bottom portion of the waveform may have the following alternate variations:
- "Ham Radio Club since 1963"
- "Serve Educate Communicate Train Experiment"
- Blank
The "y" in Society may dip below the waveform.
The ARRL Diamond may appear to the left of the complete VWS waveform.

WINTERFEST
WINTERFEST must be written in all capital letters per the official trademark. WINTERFEST is presented without the VWS Waveform, and always with the ARRL Diamond. The registered trademark symbol ® is preferred to the generic trademark ™ in graphics and written copy.

Alternate Logos
WINTERFEST Alternate to be used in two or three color printing
WINTERFEST Alternate Logo 2 to be used for monochrome or up to two color printing.
The WINTERFEST trademark is assigned to Vienna Wireless Society with the Serial Number #76219198 – by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Trademark Serial Number is a Unique ID to identify the WINTERFEST mark in USPTO. The WINTERFEST mark is filed in the category of Education and Entertainment Services.
Unacceptable Logos
Generally, do not:

Stretch, distort, or change the proportions of the logo.

Change the colors of the official logo components.

Place the logo on backgrounds that make it difficult to read (e.g., busy photos or clashing colors).

Add any filters, drop shadows, or outlines to the logo.
